ABOUT CARIEN
Carien Helberg, is the mother of a 6 year old boy, Regardt. She is currently engaged to Gary Ross, to be married in 2013. She matriculated in 1991, Welkom Gymnasium, and spent 1992 as a Rotary Exchange Student in the USA.
She graduated at University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, in 1997 with a B Soc Sc Degree in Nursing and has worked as an Operating Theatre Sister before becoming a Medical Representative. She lives in Somerset West, Cape Town and works for an Orthopedic Company, selling Hip and Knee Implants.
She has been running since 1996, and has completed many races, including Two Oceans and the Comrades. She belongs to Somerset Striders running club.
